  • Hoover and Strong: Recycled Harmony Diamonds - Hoover and Strong sells diamonds from many sources, but they also carry what they call Recycled Harmony diamonds. In their words, "A recycled Harmony Diamond is a naturally occurring diamond, cut & polished from mined rough, introduced into the jewelry supply chain for sale to the end consumer, then re-sold to a jeweler, pawn shop, refiner or other agent and acquired by Hoover & Strong for re-introduction to the supply chain for sale as a recycled Harmony Diamond." This product is not included in Hoover and Strong's SCS certification (see Precious Metals).
  • Niccolo Bella: Recycled and New Diamonds - Niccolo Bella sells diamonds (new and recycled) that come from legitimate sources that can disclose origin and cutting center practices. Sites must have independent third party verification and be committed to mining in the most socially and environmentally responsible ways. Everyone involved must have good working conditions and fair wages. They also use recycled diamonds and gemstones to conserve our natural resources and reduce environmental impact.

Rough Diamonds

  • The Raw Stone - The Raw Stone sources rough diamonds through siteholders and other industry luminaries who can trace the stones back to their country or mine of origin. The Raw Stone's diamonds are all Kimberley Certified, conflict-free and come with a certificate of origin.

Responsibly Mined Diamonds

  • Open Source Minerals - Is a diamond trader specializing in diamonds that can be traced to their source. This company works in collaboration with the Diamond Development Initiative (DDI) to source artisanally mined diamonds, but also to ensure that the sale of the stones benefits the mining communities. Diamonds for sale through Open Source Minerals are sold through auction. This system is in the process of being developed (Nov. 2012).
  • Niccolo Bella: Recycled and New Diamonds - Niccolo Bella sells diamonds (new and recycled) that come from legitimate sources that can disclose origin and cutting center practices. SEE LONGER DESCRIPTION UNDER RECYCLED DIAMONDS LISTING.
