gold sequins inserted while weaving into "pockets" to form a SE Asian design;
couched with real 24K gold thread in images similar to sanscrit,

This piece hung for three years in the Ambassador's Residence, in the US Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand, as part of the "Arts in Embassies" program which features sharing among nations.
