Gold is often used in the background of my naturalistic paintings. Sometimes I leave it over the canvas gutters. The animation shows the gold on canvas in close-up. This perceptible color is not representable in the digital range. At the transition to the dissolution are finally multicolor squares instate of golden glow. Its own "digital" aesthetic develops. It seams to be moving but it is only a unrest, produced by iris-effects. Gold as very many more than the bare sum of all pixels, - so many hearts beat for gold.
