When considering the personalities that we all experience in relationships, I have begun to express these tendencies in engagement ring forms. The size of the ring is large and ridiculous much like some of the personal tendencies that we have in a romantic relationship. By suggesting platinum or white gold, I am also making a comment on the change in preference for the engagement ring industry. By creating a swiveling mechanism that contains two different colored stones, I am insinuating the "I'll Let Her Decide" attitude in some relationships. I find it interesting to use a symbol like an engagement ring to address the human condition.
