Every
evening my front porch is littered with the bodies of dead moths. Their tenacity
amazes me - stopping at nothing to be near the porch light. Refusing defeat,
their desires cost them their lives. There is much to be learned from the moth,
and we do so through allegory and myth by projecting our desires onto this
habit which I view as a small phenomenon.
