Curiosity, contradiction and fear function as devices to attract and repulse, making the instance of "wonder" one that that is somewhat irresistible. The Bee Keeper is an object that allows a space to ruminate about the "what if" of having a stinging insect at the end of your fingertips.  Upon pulling out the rubber "finger" stoppers, the insect is inserted into the chamber. Exposed finger tips posture the viewer in a vulnerable position, of holding the piece in a way that immobilizes the hands; similar to holding a finger trap.
