cuff and chokers, reclaimed coloured threads, spools
The
collection of coloured reclaimed thread and reused spools creates the cuffs and
neck adornment, which has derived from growing up in a cotton mill area, of
which was built on the cotton industry in the Northwest of England, and my
perception of the tooling and of which the people can relate to that object,
and that is what makes it precious to them. I feel that the value of the jewellery is with the wearer
and not with precious materials used. Therefore who needs Gold!
