Painting tells me how I see the world or, at the very least, how I perceive the world. A rusty nail, a windshield wiper, a window frame... All of these objects suggest life and activity through time.  They are the real materials in my art, discarded and decomposing though they may be.  A discarded object can, in itself, speak volumes.  Sometimes an object's decomposing state creates a "new" object that resembles something different, often eloquent yet sometimes humorous.
