The
idea and practice of recycling metal and creating pieces with a more ethical
standpoint have always intrigued me. It was not until I recently learned to cast that I finally saw the
immense possibilities in this practice. In the spirit of re-using, re-claiming, and re-cycling, this necklace
was created using reclaimed silver, with a gold accent. Cast as trees, and cut down, the leaves
have once again re-joined in a beautiful intertwined piece that has changed the
way I think of creation, creativity, and adornment.
